Storing Clothes and Accessories

If you are a fashionable type of girl, then your closet would most likely be filled not just with clothes, but with bags, shoes and jewellery, too. You might have a whole collection of painted bangles, beaded necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings. If so, then you need a sufficient closet in which to store these items.

A walk-in closet is one of the most convenient amenities that a fashionable girl can have. It gives you much freedom to arrange your clothes and accessories accordingly. With a walk-in closet, you can have separate racks for long dresses, short dresses, slacks and jeans. Depending on the size of your walk-in closet, you can even have space for hanging collared, button-down blouses and tops made of material that easily creases, like silk and chiffon. You can also classify your wardrobe according to casual wear, office clothes, party outfits, Sunday attires and formal clothing.

Of course, a sufficient closet will have space for shoes, bags and accessories. If your closet is not big enough to accommodate these items, then you should make sure that you store them properly in your room. Shoes must never be stacked one on top of the other, as this will destroy their form. Rather, they must be aired and given breathing room. The same is true for bags, especially those made of leather. Bags should not be cramped together; they should be hanged on a rack or on hooks so that they can retain their original shape.

Care must be exercised in storing accessories. With the use of hooks, you can store your accessories in such a way that you will be able to locate them right away. Never neglect to hang small items like earrings. Be sure, too, that your necklaces do not get entangled with one another.
